The City of College Place beginning in the FY 2021 funds a $30,000 block resurfacing program each year. The aim of this program is to fund resurfacing a city block of roadway each year where chip seal/crack sealing will not maintain the integrity of the roadway.  Blocks of roadway which have recently been redone prior to the formalization of this program include: SE Elm (4th to 3rd), NW Evans (Whitman to Earl), and SE Broadway (12th to Mountainview).  Decisions on which block of roadway is done each year is done by consulting a pavement rating inventory the City has coupled with citizen complaints and liability. This program is paid for by REET1 funds.
