College Avenue Ribbon Cutting

A ribbon cutting for the College Avenue Rose Street (CARS) project occurred in December 2016.  This project represents a roughly $15 million investment on the part of local residents, State of Washington, and the Federal government. City of College Place residents passed a $7 million general obligation bond in 2012 to help fund the project.  Click here for the bond informational pamphlet.  The project entails over two miles of reconstructed roadway between Rose Street and Carey Court and College Avenue and Lamperti Drive.  Click  here to view a discussion of the project.  Construction team includes Keller Engineering and Scout Lake Construction.

Current Status: The project was granted physical completion on March 20, 2018.  The City will now be working with the general contractor and project engineer to close-out the project.  For additional information, please contact Mr. Paul Hartwig at phartwig@cpwa.us or (509)-394-8526.
