Status: Fire Training Tower is complete and ready to use. 

The existing drill tower used by City of Walla Walla, City of College Place, and Walla Walla County Fire District #4 dates back to the 1970's and is no longer safe for training. The three agencies are jointly going to construct a replacement fire training tower in 2021. The cost is split into 1/3 for each agency with the City expected to make payments for the next five years. Documents and legislative pathway for this project is located below.
