Update: Central Washington/Shamrock Asphalt has completed pouring asphalt. Striping will occur on Friday, April 16th. Project will close out week of April 19th, 2021. (4-15-2021)
The City of College Place received a grant for over $287,000 to resurface Meadowbrook Blvd from State Route 125 to Lamperti Street. This project will include a new asphalt surface, fix broken sidewalk panels, and some traffic reconfiguration work at the south partial entrance to Wal-Mart. The engineering work was conducted in Spring 2020. Construction was delayed due to a freeze put on Capital Projects not underway through State Transportation Improvement Board due to funding shortfalls from COVID-19. The freeze was released in December 2020. The construction bid will be awarded in January 2021. The project should wrap up by Summer 2021.
