The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a wish list of transportation (street, sidewalk, etc) projects the City wishes to fund in increments of six-years, ten years, and long term (10 to 20 years). In order to qualify for State and Federal grant funding, the project must be on the list. the projects are split into roadway reconstruction (complete build out of roadway), Chipseal (Benefits of Chipseal is located here), New Sidewalk, and Block Resurfacing (New layer of Asphalt). Actual prioritization and final costing is arrived at via the six-year Capital Facility Plan adopted every year by the City Council as part of the Budgeting Process in December. The draft FY 2025 to 2030 Transportation Improvement Plan is now available online. It should receive council approval sometime in July-August 2024. Any comments on the draft plan can be directed to Mr. Mike Rizzitiello - City Administrator via mrizzitiello@cpwa.us
